Mother Dirt has won the 2016 NEXTY Awards in the Best New Beauty Product category. The NEXTY Awards were presented at the Natural Products Expo West.

Mother Dirt says it is the first live probiotic skincare line, formulated to nurture the skin’s good bacteria. The line includes AO+ Mist, which contains Ammonia Oxidizing Bacteria; shampoo and cleanser.

Mother Dirt is marketed by the consumer product division of AOBiome, a biotechnology company, and is based in Cambridge, MA. ts mission is to lead the health and wellness industry to a “biome-friendly state,” by building awareness and helping more companies formulate with a healthy biome in mind.
